Stacie Penney wrote her poem using the Fib method. You can find out more about Fib poetry here. Stacie’s letting me title the poem. Since this week’s blogs have been about sex…
Fibbing with Cigarettes and Sex
I
pen
poems
in between
washing dishes by
hand and chain smoking cigarettes;
the expanding stack of rejection letters topples
under the weight of heaving bosoms and pulsating manhood, climaxing in sorrow.

Love it, Stacie! Great job!
Thanks! Both for loving it and asking me. It was a fantastic struggle.
That is awesome, Stacie! I checked out that Fib site, too, and now I have to try some myself today. It takes a lot to motivate me these days but you managed it swiftly!

Great poem, Stacie. I told you before how much I love the Fib idea. I’m definitely going to give it a try on a regular basis. Thanks for introducing Fibs to me
.
Thanks, guys. Let me give you one hint — the thesaurus is a good thing for these, as is a dictionary for checking the syllable count. Man, do I say some things funny.
Terrific poem, Stacie. I’ll have to take a sec and check out that fib method. Looks like fun to do.
