Mentors
Since Liz wrote about heroines and Michelle villains, I thought I’d take on mentors. I’ve read a couple books lately where there wasn’t one. Although the writers made it work, I can’t imagine writing a book without giving my character … Continue reading
Villains
Last week Edie wrote about heroes, Liz has written about heroines, so I thought I’d write about villains. I can’t seem to make my villains very creepy. In the book I just finished, I think I managed to make a … Continue reading
First Loves
I’m talking books. What was the first book you wrote? The first novel to bring that exhilarating flush of infatuation? The first set of characters you threw yourself wholeheartedly behind? Do you remember that feeling? The excitement as your characters … Continue reading

Sacred Space
It’s what I call my office. The term has been used widely, but for a reason. It says what words can’t fully express. Continue reading
My heroes have always been eye candy
Basically this whole blog is eye candy. I hope you appreciate all the hard work I did scrolling through Google Images. If you want to thank someone for this blog, that would be May, who suggested I write about heroes. … Continue reading
Patience is a virtue
If you are a writer, you have to be patient. An idea that I was kicking around with Edie in an online plotting party at least six months ago came to glorious, technicolour fruition in my mind a few days … Continue reading
