MULTI-TASKING
I know that most women are good at multi-tasking … but how come writers seem to excel in it? I was just thinking of that tonight. (I’m writing this Sunday evening, by the way). Not only was I making blueberry … Continue reading
Introduction … MaryJanice Davidson
Our guest in for this coming Saturday, November 25th, is MaryJanice Davidson, the best-selling and prolific writer of primarily paranormal romance but who also writes young adult and non-fiction. Her undead series was the start of an entirely new sub-genre … Continue reading
Book Review: Magic Study by Maria V. Snyder
Although Magic Study is a sequel to Poison Study, it stands alone and you don’t have to read Poison Study. But there are references to it, and Snyder writes such a great story, you’ll want to. Banned from Ixia because … Continue reading
Guest blogger: Sloan St. James
“Who am I? And how, I wonder, will this story end?†That’s the first line of The Notebook, by Nicholas Sparks. Terrific hook, right? He sure got my attention with a promise that he’s going to take me on a … Continue reading

Sometimes you can’t win for losing
A couple of years back I stopped letting my mom read my writing. Not because she was a critic, or unsupportive, or uninterested—but because invariably she’d read what I was so proud of and start to worry. She’d ask why … Continue reading
WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR?
That’s always a good question, in my opinion. We’re getting close to Thanksgiving and although the connection is made with the first couple of years of the settling of the United States, I think this holiday has morphed into something … Continue reading
