Jennifer Estep has written another winner! In her second Bigtime book, couture designer Fiona Fine has a side gig as Fiera, a super-strong, super-hot superhero who shoots out fire from her bare hands. Fiercely loyal, she’s still aching over the loss of her murdered fiance, Tornado, when she meets Playboy Johnny Bulluci. He lights up her libido, but he has his own secrets and his own agenda. Another Johnny enters the pages, a motorcycle-riding super hero who goes by the name of Johnny Angel. Like Bulluci, he has his own agenda, and can’t be trusted to help the Fiera and her superpower gang, the Fearless Five, prevent two ubervillains from taking over the world.

This is another fun book, a comic book in fiction form, with super adventures, zany characters and hot sex. The biggest winner of the Bigtime books is the reader. Grumpy but big-hearted Fiona has a completely different personality from Carmen in Karma Girl, the first Bigtime book (and I hope there’s many more). If you’re looking for a book that’s sexy, fresh, laugh out loud funny, and will keep you turning the pages, Hot Mama is the book for you.
