Week Ahead With Carrie Vaughn

MagicalMusings is pleased to have Carrie Vaughn join us this Thursday, December, 10th. I’ve been a huge fan since her first book, “Kitty and the Midnight Hour”.
Her series centers around Kitty Norville, a midnight-shift DJ for a Denver radio station who happens to be a werewolf in the closet. Coming up with a brilliant late-night advice show for the supernaturally disadvantaged, Kitty is almost surprised when it becomes a huge success. But trouble dogs her steps when a sexy werewolf-hunter and a few homicidal undead latch onto her tail.
Carrie has since gone to write six more books following the on-going adventures of her werewolf DJ with “Kitty and the Dead Man’s Hand” and “Kitty Raises Hell” which are available now. Coming in January of 2010 is “Kitty’s House of Horrors” as well as her new young adult series, “Voices of Dragons”.
After living a nomadic life of an Air Force brat, Carrie presently lives in Boulder, Colorado. She holds a Masters in English Literature and collects hobbies, fencing and sewing are currently high on the list. Her website is www.carrievaughn.com.
