Guest blogger: Pamela S. Beason
A lot of writers ask about my experience with self-publishing and selling my first mystery, Wild. First of all, let me say that Wild had a lot of ‘near misses’ with big publishers who dithered about buying it for long … Continue reading
Stopping Me Dead
I was reading a book I never usually read. A UF with vampires, werewolves and witches. The book was the second in the series, and I had to scramble a bit to make sense of things, but I appreciated not … Continue reading
Emotions and other links
I didn’t plan on linking today, but yesterday I put up an Industry News post for the RWA-WF group, and there are a lot of great links. My fav are two sites for showing emotions. To make sure you don’t … Continue reading

Your well of experience
I belong to the RWA-WF chapter, and our President Therese Walsh snagged agent Donald Maass to speak at our first annual meeting at the RWA National conference in Orlando. I came out of it energized and wanting to write. (I … Continue reading
Conference Experience
This is where I get to talk about my RWA National conference experience. (That’s a photo of Cynthia Eden winning not one, but two Prism awards, by the way). Seeing how both Edie and Michelle managed to cover much of … Continue reading
