Books, books, and more books!!

I love it when books that I have been eagerly awaiting finally release.  I count down the days, scan authors’ websites and then–the books are finally here!

I’ve been addicted to reading since I was a child, and that’s an addiction that I do hope to pass on to my son.  Books are the perfect way to escape the worries of the everyday world. For a few hours, you get to slip into another life–one with danger, excitement, passion, fun.

Ah, books are awesome.

Yesterday, I received a notice that Jayne Ann Krentz’s new book COPPER LEGACY had released. The second romance novel that I ever read (THE PIRATE) was written by Jayne Ann Krentz, and she’s been on my must-read list ever since.  So, yes, can you imagine my excitement right now?  A new book to read from a fave author! Score!

What about you? What books have you been eagerly anticipating?

And…before I end the post…I wanted to say that my latest paranormal novella, BOUND IN SIN is still free at Smashwords and All Romance Ebooks–it will be free until 1/13/12. So if you haven’t downloaded your copy, there’s still time!

Happy reading!

I’m counting down the days till Sophie Kinsella’s new release “I’ve Got Your Number.”
Also, waiting for me on my Kindle, are: “Space in his Heart” by Roxanne St. Clair, “The Duke is Mine” by Eloisa James, “An Appetite for Murder” by Lucy Burdette, “Cattitude” by our Edie Ramer, and last but not least “A Visit from the Goon Squad” by Jennifer Egan. So many books, so little time!

  2. Best thing about ebooks are all the free ones! lol.

I am also anxious to see what Kinsella has made for us. Books are really great and I enjoy reading them but unfortunately being a MOM and a workaholic….guess if I have much time for them.
Anna`s last blog was …veneers cost

  4. Cynthia, I’m here for my second helping of MM … not a bad breakfast if you ask me. Books and books. Told the Secret Santa and the kids … all I want for Christmas is a gift card to buy books. Ordered five January2nd. I’ll scoot over and get your copy, although I suspect it’s well worth my Secret Santa’s hard-earned buck :) And Jane always finds a place on my TBR list !
florence fois`s last blog was …The Writer’s Life, The Debate Continues …

I pre-ordered JAK’s book from the library as soon as I heard about it. It should be there any day, I hope! I’ve got Bound in Sin on my Kindle.

Maria, thank you for the shout out! I hope you enjoy Cattitude! It was fun putting it up for free for a short time. I know I gained fans, and I’m delighted.

Oh man … where to begin when eagerly awaiting books. Its not so much the book itself, but the author that I watch for. I’m always watching for your releases, of course. Then there’s Patricia Briggs, Jeaniene Frost, JAK (of course … already ordered her book), geez … countless others.

Trouble is … time. When can I find the time to read all of these wonderful books? I really gotta retire.

I’m eagerly awaiting Stacia Kane’s next Chess Putnam book. :)
