I’m so not a shopper. Couldn’t care about going to a mall or the grocery store or even the ladies’ boutiques stores. I’m always happy to peruse the second hand book stores and even second hand stores, but still I don’t get there very often.
Online suits me. 🙂
No crowds, not lineups, no bags to carry. Just sit indoors and enjoy my coffee while everyone else does the work. Maybe it’s selfish of me but it’s definitely one of the blessings on the age of the Internet.
Being Canadian, I don’t have the same Black Friday phenomenon that you do down south. But we have Boxing Day. That’s the day after Christmas when EVERYTHING goes on crazy sales. Presumably it started as a way to reduce the excess stock from the Christmas season. Now it’s as big a tradition as Black Friday.
However, what happens on one side of the border seems to slowly make it’s way to the other side eventually. Possibly because many of the same stores exist on both sides of the border and many just because it seemed like a good idea. But sure enough Black Friday is creeping up in popularity over here this year too. And I heard that Boxing way was starting to make it’s way down south last year and will likely be slightly bigger this year than last.
I’m happy to let everyone do their thing, so enjoy as you go out after the latest, bestest, biggest deals.
Happy shopping everyone! Will you be an online or in store shopper this year?
