Mythos Academy e-books on sale and other thoughts

Back in December, I finally got an e-reader. I didn’t think that I would use it all that much, given the 40 or so print books currently in my TBR pile. But I quickly discovered that downloading e-books is totally addictive — especially when it comes to e-book sales.

Oh, those e-book sales. They are so not good for my book budget, but they are so tempting at the same time. When you can get an e-book on sale for $2.99 or less and start reading it in mere minutes, well, it’s hard to say no to that. Especially if it’s an author that you haven’t read before but have been wanting to try.

I still buy my favorite authors in print, along with books that I plan to share with others. But I’m also haunting more and more e-book sites, looking for deals on books/authors that I want to try.

What about you guys? Are you on the lookout for e-book deals? Why or why not?

Kiss of FrostAnd I have an ulterior motive for mentioning e-book sales. Today is the beginning of an e-book sale for the first five books in my Mythos Academy young adult urban fantasy series.

From May 13-27, the e-books for Touch of Frost, Kiss of Frost, Dark Frost, Crimson Frost, and Midnight Frost will be $2.99 each. The deal is being offered at iTunes and Barnes & Noble, but I imagine that the other e-book retailers will pick it up as well. So if you’ve been wanting to check out the series, now might be a good time.

Here are some of the sites where you can get the e-books:

TOUCH OF FROST — BOOK #1

Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Books-A-Million / iTunes / Kobo

KISS OF FROST — BOOK #2

Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Books-A-Million / iTunes / Kobo

DARK FROST — BOOK #3

Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Books-A-Million / iTunes / Kobo

CRIMSON FROST — BOOK #4

Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Books-A-Million / iTunes / Kobo

MIDNIGHT FROST — BOOK #5

Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Books-A-Million / iTunes / Kobo

Hope that everyone enjoys the e-book sale. Happy downloading!

  1. Jennifer, I love my Kindle :)

I love that I can have a book that catches my fancy immediately, and that I can read a sample to see if it is for me or not, first.

I loved your Mythos Academy books, so I’m sure they are going to fly of the electronic shelves during your sale :)

  2. I like being able to instantly read a sample too. Thanks! I appreciate that.

I have so many books on my Kindle. I doubt if I’ll ever read all of them – but I’ll have fun trying!
