My latest historical novel, A Dangerous Madness, released on Monday. It is always exciting to have a new book out, and I always find it really hard to settle down to work on my current project with the thrill of a new release going on. But I have to.
I’ve got deadlines, and I really am having to be strict with myself. It’s hard though.
I know I can’t be alone in this, amongst writers and readers alike. We all have something that distracts us from time to time, and it’s hard to stay on track
The worst for me is when I reading a really great book and I know I should make dinner / get back to work / clean the house (snort!) but the next chapter is just calling my name
So I’d love to know what is your secret downfall. Your kryptonite. What makes you put off the things you have to do just that little bit longer so you can do what you really want to be doing?
Giveaway: There is a release day giveaway going on for the launch of A Dangerous Madness, and you can enter it here.
