Historical Romance Treat (with giveaway)

TemptedByHisTouch_promotional_graphicHistorical romance author Darcy Burke and I met when she invited me to join a historical boxed set she was putting together. I was planning to include my Victorian-set historical Daughter of the Sky, but unfortunately, in the end, it wasn’t possible for me to be involved, but I love the set that she’s put together (maybe next time I can join in :)) and as it has just been launched, I thought it would be fun to let everyone here at MM know about it. I love the cooperation and friendship that seems to result from these joint ventures, and that extends even to those who are approached by can’t be involved, like myself. The romance writing community is inclusive, sharing and generous, and I love that about them!

Michelle, I just bought it! I’m in 3 different bundles right now, with two more coming up this year, plus a few anthologies in the past. I have found new friends from the bundle – and new readers have found me! I’m grateful for the experience.

  2. Darcy Burke says:

Thank you so much for celebrating our release, Michelle! I was so sad when you couldn’t be in the set – and YES, YES, YES to collaborating in the future!!

  3. Mary Hughes says:

    Hi Michelle,

Thanks for sharing this great boxed set! As a reader, I love getting a taste of several authors in one package. As an author, they’re so much fun! Planning together and sharing tasks makes everything lighter.

  4. Emma Locke says:

We were sorry to lose you, too! Thanks for the shout out, though! Go, collaboration!

  5. Ada says:

My favorite historical period has to be the Regency period. There’s just something about all the balls and gowns. The best part of starting a new historical for me is reading about how well the heroine is dressed! 🙂 Thanks for posting about the set, it’s definitely getting added to my TBR pile!
