In addition to our Friday Finds posts, we’re shaking things up at Magical Musings. I’d thrilled to welcome four new bloggers to Magical Musings!
First up, Maggie Mae Gallagher has already blogged a couple of times, so my welcome is a bit late. In Sheila English’s words, “Not only does she write wonderful urban fantasy books, she travels and will blog about conferences/conventions and she does a lot of marketing for other authors so she’d be a great resource…” You can find out more about Maggie at her website.
Zoe Dawson is an amazing writer who recently quit her day job (yay!). She’s a crazy woman, and while she was working, she published more books than most of do while we write full time. I’m in two box sets with her, and will probably be in more this year. She writes contemporary romances (with dogs!), new adult romances, and urban fantasy. You can find our more about Zoe here.
I’m so happy that Amy Knupp is joining us. Michelle Diener and I have known Amy for quite a few years. She’s a Harlequin SuperRomance author and an indie romance author of contemporary romances. She’s also a copyeditor and proofreader at Blue Otter Editing. (She’s my copyeditor, and she’s wonderful.) She also proofs for a national corporation that you’d recognize if I told you. She’s working on her own writing project now, and she’ll tell you more when it’s done. You can find out more about her at her website.
Kim Hudson is Michelle Diener’s good friend and critique partner. Kim is the author of the ground-breaking book on the hero’s journey from a woman’s perspective, The Virgin’s Promise. Michelle said, “Kim has fascinating insights into the arcs and archetypes of stories, and is always interesting to talk to.” Over the past four years Kim has been giving workshops and classes in the Vancouver area on the Virgin’s Promise. I’m so looking forward to her posts.
I love the new changes and authors. It’s so fun to shake things up. (That should be Taylor Swift’s new song. Someone tell her! 🙂 )
