We have two fabulous guest bloggers this week at Magical. Tamara Hughes will be our guest this Tuesday. She’s a semi-finalist in the American Title V contest with her historical, ONCE UPON A MASQUERADE. With the last round of voting well underway, she just may be the next American Title winner. A Wisconsin native, now living in Minnesota, Tamara is a stay-at-home mom who writes historical and urban fantasy romance. Her stories have humor, complex plot twists, and characters that are clumsy, unsophisticated, and downright normal.

Voting is on until March 29. You can read the two romantic scenes here and vote for your favorite. Dorchester Publishing will publish the winner’s book. If you haven’t voted yet, please go there and vote.

This coming Thursday, March 26th, we look forward to having Ann Aguirre as our guest blogger. Ann is a national bestselling author with three ongoing series. She has a degree in English Literature and a seriously spotty resume. Before she began writing full time, she was a clown, a clerk, a voice actress, and a savior of stray kittens, not necessarily in that order. She grew up in a yellow house across from a cornfield, but now she lives in sunny Mexico with her husband, two children, two cats, and one very lazy dog. She likes books with too much sex and violence, emo music, action movies and Dr. Who. Under her own name, she publishes romantic science fiction and urban fantasy. As Ava Gray, she writes high-octane romances.
