Week ahead with Robin Kaye
November 29th, 2009 by Edie Ramer
I’m a fan of Robin Kaye’s, and was delighted when she agreed to be our guest this Thursday. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Robin grew up in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge next door to her Sicilian grandparents. Living with an extended family that’s a cross between Gilligan’s Island and The Sopranos, minus the desert isle and illegal activities, explains both her comedic timing and the cast of quirky characters in her books.
She’s lived in half a dozen states from Idaho to Florida, but the romance of Brooklyn has never left her heart. She currently resides in Maryland with her husband, three children, two dogs, and a three-legged cat with attitude.
Breakfast in Bed, the third in her Domestic Gods series, will be released Dec. 1. It would be a great Christmas gift for someone you love.
Romantic Times gave it a 4 star review.
Booklist said, “Delightfully fun…a writer to watch.”
Armchair Romance said this about her second book of the series, Two Hot to Handle: “Robin Kaye is a master at romance, and her second novel is even better than the first.”
Night Owl Romance about the first book of the series, Romeo, Romeo: “Robin Kaye has proved herself a master of romantic comedy.”

All Becca wants is to focus on her artwork. So when she sublets a relative’s apartment, she doesn’t count on having to share it with Rich, her sister-in-law’s hunky brother. Rich couldn’t be more thrilled about the accident; he needs Becca to teach him how to be a domestic god to win back his ex. Becca and Rich make good roommates, but they struggle to translate their trust as roommates into trust as partners. Their relationship is tested by trust issues and lies of omission, but will these challenges be too much for Becca’s bruised heart?
