Amy Atwell worked in professional theater for 15 years before turning from the stage to the page to write fiction. She wrote non-fiction projects for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the National Park Service, Virginia Tech and Georgia Shakespeare Festival and has had two plays commissioned and produced.
She now gives her imagination free rein in both contemporary and historical stories that combine adventure and romance. An Ohio native, Amy has lived all across the country and now resides on a barrier island in Florida with her husband and two Russian Blues. When not writing, Amy runs the WritingGIAM online writers community and actively participates with Publishing Underground. Her latest venture is Author E.M.S., an online resource library for authors. She also has her own personal blog From Stage To Page: What’s The Story? where she posts when the mood strikes her.
