Fearless
The moment I heard about Marisol Valles Garcia, I knew she carried the stuff of great stories and legends. She’s Mexico’s youngest Police Chief, in a town that everyone in law enforcement had to flee from. No one wanted the … Continue reading
Simplicity
I watched The Perfect Getaway this week with my daughter, and frankly I was blown away. Not sure how I missed this thriller, it was a 2009 release, but so glad that I didn’t miss the boat. Simplicity is the … Continue reading
Who Has The Microphone…
I had an epiphany this week…and boy, do I love them! It’s like being in a dark theater and having the projector click on; the spotlight revealing a new little pearl to hold to the light. I think my epiphany … Continue reading

A Little Something Extra
I’ve noticed that several novels I’ve enjoyed recently have a Reader’s Guide included in the back. When you hit the end of the road in a great book, that something extra always brings a smile. And too, I find so … Continue reading
Dreaming Life
“Living and dreaming are two different things — but you can’t do one without the other.” ~Malcolm S. Forbes~ I love this quote, probably because to me it says everything. I’m one of those gals that believe dreaming is not … Continue reading
Cinema and Book Therapy
I love the term, Cinema Therapy. At Magical, we chat about books and movies frequently, and since so many books are made into movies an article I recently read applies to both. The article spoke of movies in the Cinema … Continue reading
